At heart, we’re problem solvers who take a lot of pride in making clients happy. Here are four of them.

Autodesk, Inc. (worldwide leader in visualization software development; creator of revolutionary AutoCAD and 3D Studio MAX applications)
Project: Renderings and animation for the marketing launch of Revit® software
Situation + Objective: Autodesk was rushing to market with Revit, a new architectural design application that integrates with 3D Studio MAX, and did not have any rendered media with which to market the software.
Results: Working closely with the Revit marketing team, 3D Plans produced 10 renderings and one 30-second animation used to successfully launch Revit on schedule and with incredible success. A post-project note from the Revit marketing team: “From the textures you chose, to the incorporation of RPC People, to the animated water — it is truly a work of art. Beyond the final product, I think the hundreds of images compiled together to make this animation is a testament to the amount of work that you guys did to complete this project.”

New Orleans Music Hall of Fame
Project: Pre-construction renderings for public project announcement
Situation + Objective: The City of New Orleans wanted to highlight post-Katrina redevelopment by announcing the new Hall of Fame and accompanying high-rise hotel. Perez Architects commissioned 3D Plans to conceptualize three unique designs and produce renderings of the Hall and hotel for a press event during the Mayoral elections.
Results: 3D Plans produced models of three different Hall/hotel concepts, from which Perez then chose its favorite and had 3D Plans produce two perspective renderings for the chosen design. Under intense pressure, 3D plans completed the initial concept work in only five days and completed the perspective renderings in one additional week, leaving time to spare before the press event.

Choice Homes (one of the largest residential homebuilders in the United States)
Project: 900+ home plan renderings for online sale
Situation + Objective: Texas-based Choice Homes possessed more than 900 home plans that the company wished to showcase and sell through its Web site — only it was unhappy with both the quality of current renderings and the speed with which they were produced. Choice chose 3D Plans to re-render the entire home plan inventory.
Results: With less than eight months to complete the project, 3D Plans ramped up by recruiting 12 additional team members for the project. Under the hands-on leadership of principal Jason Jacobs, 3D Plans produced approximately 1,000 printable renderings on time and under budget while diligently maintaining accuracy, quality and rendering style across the entire team. The client’s planned marketing launch proceeded as scheduled.

Suncoast Federal Credit Union
Project: Mobile branch RV vinyl wrap
Situation + Ojective: Suncoast RV wanted to wrap their mobile branch RV with vinyl artwork that would mimic a real building, appearing both realistic and appropriate to the Florida architectural style.
Results: 3D Plans’ biggest challenge was to create the rendering large enough and to the perfect dimensions so that, when printed to vinyl and wrapped onto the RV, it would appear as a mini-building. In order to ensure success, 3D Plans teamed up with A&B Graf/x, which created a digital replica of the mobile RV unit. 3D Plans then designed a building to fit the dimensions of the RV and rendered it. A&B Graf/x wrapped the digital RV with our rendering to ensure the perfect fit before vinyl was produced and applied. According to the client, 3D Plans far exceeded their expectations and delivered more than a bank branch but a rolling conversation piece.
